On October 26th, more than 6,000 people will gather at Soldier Field for one mission: to walk to raise awareness and funds to end Alzheimer’s.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® in Chicago is the seventh-largest walk in the nation. Funds generated from The Walk help benefit Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

More than 60 older adults from Uptown, Andersonville and Edgewater - along with hundreds of residents and staff - enjoyed an afternoon picnic at The Admiral Wednesday, August 21.

Being a caregiver to a loved one such as your parent or grandparent can be rewarding. You get to spend time with them and take pride in being able to care for them as they cared for you. However, being a caregiver can also be exhausting, emotionally draining and can interfere with your family and career.
