Entertainment at The Admiral at the Lake

We really don’t have to go far to enjoy high-quality entertainment at The Admiral at the Lake. Stage performances, live music, dance, lectures, and more are presented in the building that houses numerous paintings, sculptures and other artwork from resident artists.

For example, on June 6 at 8:30 a.m., the 2017 State of Edgewater examines how the area has changed and envisions its future direction and will be hosted by The Admiral at the Lake.

We’re also excited for our next event on June 7th at The Admiral at the Lake for those who are interested in learning more about our community.  We’ll be hosting Admiral residents, Alderman Harry Osterman, Kate Piatt-Eckert (Executive Director of Steep Theatre Company), and Rich Hagerty (Owner of Pearl’s Southern Comfort Restaurant) on a panel to discuss the tremendous attractions of the Edgewater/Andersonville neighborhood.

Our community members reflect the diversity and vibrancy of Edgewater, Andersonville, and the other neighborhoods on Chicago’s north side. The Admiral at the Lake is a continuing care community dedicated to supporting and promoting the personal independence, health and wellness of community members. We avoid using the terms retirement community or senior living, because The Admiral at the Lake encourages a lifestyle that rejects stereotypes of aging.
